Download Those Interesting YouTube Videos and others with Your Smartphones

What prompted me to write this post was that I found out that so many people find it very challenging to download YouTube videos that are of interest to them using their smart phones. I also found it very challenging at some point but not any more.

 If you have been searching for that download link while watching videos on YouTube with your phone and kept on coming back to watch the same videos because you were unable to see a download link, search no more as there are different ways that you can download any video of your choice directly to your phone. Downloading YouTube videos that are of interest to you help to save data and you can watch the videos anytime without having to visit YouTube again for that same video.

Simple ways to download videos

1. Using "savefrom.net":

a. While on youtube.com, search for and open video of your choice. Pause it and edit the video URL from the address bar by adding "ss" before YouTube.
For Example:
Original URL: http://Youtube.com/blahblah....
Edited URL for download: http://ssyoutube.com/blahblah....

Reload the video URL after editing by pressing "Enter" or "Go" from your keyboard to take you directly to the download page to start download.

b. Downloading from any web page:
While on the website where the video is posted, add "sfrom.net/" or "savefrom.net/" before the web page URL address and press "Enter". You will get the list containing direct links of all the videos posted on the chosen web page.

c. Downloading via "savefrom.net" web page:
Copy the video URL you want to download from the address bar, go to "savefrom.net" and paste the video URL in the field provided. Click the "download" button and you will get the list containing all available format links. Choose a format and download.

d. Installing the App:
You can also install "savefrom.net" app from the web page, the download notification will always pop-up when you open a YouTube video or any video.



2. Using "Save-Video.com":

a. Edit the video URL address you want to download in the address bar by putting "magic" between "you" and "tube". Press "Enter" or "Go" in your keyboard to reload for download. Click on "download video" to start download.

b. Copy the video URL address that you want to download. Go to "Save-Video.com" and paste the video URL in the field provided. Click on "download" button to start download.


3. UC Browser downloads most YouTube videos. Visit "youtube.com" with UC Browser and download till data finishes but it will slightly reduce the video quality for faster download.


4. Install Firefox mobile browser along with "savefrom.net" helper extension to download from YouTube in one click.


5. Using "clipconverter.cc". All you have to do is to copy the video URL and paste it on the website using UC Browser for fast download speed.


6. Other video download apps:
These apps need to be downloaded and installed in your phones to enable download. Google them. They include:

a. Snaptube YouTube Video Downloader

b. Tubemate YouTube Downloader

c. Videoder downloader.
